The UNDERWORLD GM Rules

The UNDERWORLD was the first server to offer GM (Game Master) powers by donation. Although donating for GM Powers grants you the abilities of a GM, it does not mean you are free to do what you want. If we let GM's do whatever they wanted, chaos would ensue. That's why we have these rules here for ALL GM's to abide by.

  1. No GM is to use the announcements for general chat. Announcements made will be concerning server related issues only.
  2. No GM will ask for help with commands, or what commands they have or what commands do in the main chat channels. Guides for every command for every metal is posted in Donation forum.
  3. No GM will use the kick command for fun, or in an abusive manner. Kicking yourself, or kicking innocent players will not be tolerated.
  4. Always kick with a reason that is valid.
  5. Commands will not be used to abuse players in any way shape or form.
  6. No GM will use any command during PvP or duels versus any player.
  7. No GM is to create or summon a pet in any leveling zone. Areas include the Capital city, the tainted ex-horde, and tainted ex-alliance leveling areas.
  8. No GM is to be flagged during PvP or PvE.
  9. A GM will only be flagged when answering tickets, patrolling, or assisting players in need.
  10. No GM will teleport or summon any player to any GM only area for any reason. If a player is found in that area, they are to be ported out.
  11. GMs will not enforce GM rules on other GMs. If a GM finds a fellow GM in violation of a rule, remind them of the rule they are violating, or take a screenshot and report them immediately to a co-admin or ADMIN.
  12. GMs will not be rude or verbally abuse players while flagged through any means of chat or the ticket system.
  13. Gms are not permitted to share their GM account with anyone for any reason. Account information is to be kept private.
  14. Gms are not permitted to give players the following: items, gold, levels, armor, weapons, spells, skills, enchants, points of any kind.
  15. No GM is to verbally abuse a co-admin, or ADMIN.
  16. No GM is to mount, mod, or morph in the following areas: The capital, The Seven Deadly Sins, The catacombs of Death Lord Kaidon. The only exception to this rule is the mod gold and mod talentpoints commands.
  17. No GM will close any open ticket without contacting the player first through a whisper to ensure the ticket has been taken care of.
  18. No GM is to have a password that is the same as their account. Please email an ADMIN with your account name for a password change if this applies to you.
  19. All player rules apply to all GMs with the exception of the tickets. If a GM needs help, contact a co-admin or ADMIN.
  20. NO GM is to use commands in or out of a group players to help them level, twink, or powerlevel them. THATS CHEATING.
